DSC is a Hedera Token Service token where each unit represents a vault-receipt title to one physical Diamond Standard Coin — a clear-resin package of 8–9 natural diamonds statistically selected so every Coin holds an equivalent aggregate diamond value (fungible by construction rather than by weight). Coins are issued by Diamond Standard and held in a multi-vault custody chain administered by DS Admin Trust. Transfers are gated at the protocol level (KYC required on both sides) and redemption is a monthly physical-delivery process; the bare DSC commodity is not a regulated security.
